React components

React components I publish and maintain for playlists, synced lyrics and reveal.js slides.

react-list-player

react-list-player is a React playlist component. It manages the list but doesn’t play media itself, so it works with any audio or video player. It resizes with its container, switches between built-in sizes, and has a headless mode that leaves out its playback controls so you can use your own. The player at the top of this page is its live demo. It installs from npm as react-list-player, and the repository has 54 stars on GitHub.

lyr-ix

lyr-ix shows a song’s lyrics in time with the music and highlights the line being sung. Clicking a line pauses the song and moves playback to the start of that line, and clicking it again plays from there. The lyrics scroll to keep the current line in view, and you can control playback and move between lines with the keyboard. It has two themes, one modeled on Spotify’s lyrics view, and it accepts your own CSS. Callbacks report play, pause and line changes. Its play, pause and isPlaying functions let another player control it. It installs from GitHub.

react-reveal-slides

react-reveal-slides builds reveal.js presentations in React. You write slides in JSX, put React components inside them, and control the configuration and the current slide through props. It installs from GitHub, and the repository has 53 stars.
